晴れ。週末は気持ちの良い秋晴れが続く。名所の紅葉も見ごろを迎えているようだ。
先日も触れた、いわゆる「ラガルドリスト」のギリシャ人が論争の的になっている。富裕層らが納税義務を逃れていたというスキャンダラスな内容だ。
この問題を告発したジャーナリストは無罪判決を受け、疑惑が指摘されている富裕層や有力者たちは判決の悪影響に身構えている。

今週の米国の経済指標発表を振り返って。雇用統計や住宅関連指標は堅調だったが、製造業関連指標が弱い。自動車関連指標は低下したが、全体として経済活動は上向き基調にある。

フランスで競争力の低下が深刻な問題となっている。経済危機によって近隣国が労働市場改革を進めようとしているため、相対的にフランスの競争力が脅かされるのではないか、という懸念があるようだ。具体的には税制改革に言及されており、賃金税から付加価値税へ、という改革の流れがある。
